我們在首爾花了很多時間購物和走來走去,所以我很期待坐下來吃個長一點時間的晚餐。羅宴是在首爾新羅酒店的頂樓。我們到了餐廳就花了很多時間看窗外的漂亮首爾風景。這是我第一次享用韓國的高級美食!雖然有很多道菜,因為這是根據漢斯克傳統(肉類比較少)而製作的,並沒有讓我覺得我吃完了重了10公斤。 整個用餐體驗很精緻,讓我們很欣賞韓國料理!聽說他們的『神仙爐』是他們的特色,讓他們得到『亞洲50個最佳餐廳』的38名~但我不得不說,我最喜歡的是他們的甜點 - 玉米冰點。我們絕對推羅宴給所有參觀首爾的朋友,想要一頓令人難忘的晚餐。

Our time in Seoul was filled with lots of shopping, exploring, and non-stop walking, so I was looking forward to having a nice, long dinner. Located on the top floor of Seoul Shilla Hotel, the restaurant welcomed us in with stunning views of the city. It was my first time having Korean haute cuisine and even though there were many courses, the fact that it was made according to Hansik tradition (meaning less meaty) didn’t make me feel like I gained ten pounds in one meal. I loved how the whole dining experience was created with such sophistication and appreciation for Korean cuisine. Apparently, it’s sinseollo ‘神仙爐’ hot-pot dish is what got it to #38 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants - but I have to say that my fav part was the dessert - the ‘corn’ dessert (玉米冰點 - I only had the Chinese/Korean menu so I don’t know what it’s called in English). Definitely recommending La Yeon to everyone who visit Seoul and wants an unforgettable meal.
